The Experiential Workshop on Gamification in Education, held on May 7, 2025, at the Museum of Science and Technology (MST), brought together dozens of passionate educators for an evening filled with creativity, collaboration, and play. Organized under the Erasmus+ project MVP – Most Value Play, the event celebrated the power of gamification to transform teaching and learning.
Throughout the workshop, participants explored practical gamification techniques, discovered digital tools for playful learning, and worked in teams to design their own interactive educational experiences. The hands-on activities encouraged experimentation and creativity, allowing educators to see firsthand how game-inspired strategies can boost engagement and motivation in the classroom.
Key Speakers and Highlights
The event featured insightful presentations from:
Prof. Ioannis Iliopoulos – Director, MST

Hands-On Learning and Collaboration
Participants engaged in small groups to co-create gamified activities, applying what they learned in real time. Using the free MVP tools, available at www.mostvalueplay.eu, they began designing playful, meaningful, and learner-centered experiences that can easily be adapted for classroom use.
Looking Ahead
The workshop concluded with a shared commitment to continue experimenting with gamification in real educational settings. Participants were encouraged to apply their new activities in practice, gather feedback from learners, and contribute insights back to the MVP community to enhance the project’s ongoing development.
A heartfelt thank you to all presenters and participants for their inspiring energy and collaboration spirit. Together, we continue to make learning more engaging, creative, and joyful!
